Toeffler – this is how the rustic wood clogs with nailed shafts are called by Berkemann. Their origins are in the 70s and since then they have been continuously represented in different variants in the berkemann range. The soft toeffler impresses with a particularly soft edge at the entrance. The double layed, extra leather protects the instep as a soft bead against chafing and makes it twice pleasant. As with all Toeffler from Berkemann, the soft-toeffler has a stable yet breathable genuine leather shaft which is attached to the solid wood sole instead of cheaper tacker needles. In addition, the original 5-phase footbed incorporated into the lightweight wooden sole supports the natural rolling process of the foot while the toe grip function trains both foot and calf muscles with each step. In addition, the shock-absorbing midsole cushions the impact energy up to the spine.
